Twisted Joker Art Prints features a painting that I worked on during the tail end of my “Little Spoofs” run. By 2021, I was getting more tuned into the skateboarding culture. A lot of the art from that sub-culture has been drug-inspired. I had an idea for a new painting based on a cross of Little People clown toys that I used to play with as a child. One was a green circus clown sporting a top hat. The other was a really tall fire clown with a long yellow tie painted on.
The idea was honestly much better inside my head than in reality. I wanted to paint a clown that was spiraling from a Joker card towards the viewer. Twisted Joker allowed for multiple opportunities to play around with various aspects of the clown. (In other words, I could do lots of off-the-wall stuff) In the background, I did a series of washes that I allowed to drip across the canvas board. I rotated the board with each new wash.

All prints are packaged in an archival and acid-free polypropylene bag to protect prints from moisture. Letter-size prints also include cardboard backing to prevent the print from being crushed. Smaller 5×7 inch prints are protected by a stiffer cardboard envelope that resists damage during delivery.
